Will I be able to use my data from AT or Archon in the new system?
There is a strong commitment to import 100% of AT or Archon legacy data into the integrated application. Choosing either AT or Archon at this point is a good step toward getting data into the future integrated application.
Will development continue on Archivists' Toolkit and Archon?
Development for Archivists' Toolkit ended in September of 2009 and development for Archon ended in April, 2010. Both products will continue to make maintenance releases to their systems. Last maintenance releases; AT version 2.0 maintenance update 10; Archon Version 3.2 maintenance update. The Archon roadmap for maintenance activities and transition to the new tool can be found here.
What features from AT and Archon will the new tool have?

How does ArchivesSpace differ from CollectionSpace?
CollectionSpace is being built for museums and their work flow, with a concentration on 3D objects, their storage, display and loan. There might be some overlap that we could take a look at.
What will happen to the custom plugins?
There is potential for the functionality from the plugin might be included in the functional specs but it's too early to tell. We cannot guarantee that data that is captured in custom plugins will migrate to the next generation software system.
